The Streamlight PolyStinger LED rechargeable flashlight is compact, powerful, and offers 3 microprocessor controlled intensity modes, strobe mode, and the latest in power LED technology. With rechargeable batteries and LED technology, it has one of the lowest operating costs of any flashlight. It has a high lumen, far-reaching beam of 485 lumens, 335m beam distance, 28,000 candela, and can run for 3 hours. The medium setting provides bright light and a longer run time, with 240 lumens, 237m beam distance, 14,000 candela, and a run time of 5.5 hours. The low setting offers a less intense beam and extended run time, with 120 lumens, 167m beam distance, 7,000 candela, and a run time of 10 hours.

The flashlight is made of super-tough, non-conductive nylon polymer with a non-slip rubberized comfort grip. It has a multi-function head-mounted push-button switch designed for extremely long life and is tested at 1 million actuations. It is IPX4 rated for water resistant operation and has been 3-meter impact resistance tested. It is serialized for positive identification and fits existing Streamlight Stinger chargers as well as new Smart chargers. Additionally, it includes a 12-Volt DC Smart Charger.
