The Streamlight 8866 ProTac Rail Mount HL-X is a 1000-lumen weapon-mounted light that is lightweight, compact, and has a low profile. It features a rail clamp designed to rapidly and securely attach/detach from rifles, carbines, and submachine guns with a MIL Standard 1913 Rail.
This light can be operated using either a remote switch with momentary/constant on operation or a standard push-button tail switch. It also has TEN-TAP Programming with three user-selectable programs. The light uses either two CR123A lithium batteries or one Streamlight rechargeable 18650 battery.
The dimensions of the product are 5.43 inches in length, 1.45 inches in width, and 1.72 inches in height. With CR123A batteries (included), the product weighs 6.4 ounces, and with the optional 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable battery (sold separately), it weighs 6.9 ounces.
The Streamlight 8866 ProTac Rail Mount HL-X features dual fuel technology, offering high for maximum illumination, low for extended runtime, and a strobe for signaling or disorienting. The light source uses LED technology and is impervious to shock with a 50,000-hour lifetime.
The flashlight is built to last with durable construction and is IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes with the tail button switch and IPX4 water-resistant with the remote switch.
It comes with a fixed rail grabber with a thumbscrew that easily attaches to Picatinny rails without the need for tools. The one-handed snap-on and tighten interface ensures that hands are kept away from the muzzle when attaching/detaching.
