Streamlight's Survivor is an intrinsically safe, handheld flashlight with a right-angle head designed for use in hazardous locations. The flashlight features a reduced bezel length to minimize snag hazards and a clip for attachment to turnout gear. Its large push-button provides gloved access to microprocessor-controlled high and low-intensity modes, emergency flash, and moonlight mode. The Survivor is equipped with Smoke Cutter optic technology, offering insertable black or amber plugs for a user-customizable beam pattern.

The flashlight is capable of using either a rechargeable NiMH battery or 4 “AA” alkaline batteries. Model numbers 90540, 90541, and 90545 come with 4 “AA” alkaline batteries, while other model numbers come with a NiMH rechargeable battery option, either with AC/DC Charging or without a charger.

The Survivor LED (Alkaline Model) is a lightweight, hand-held light with a right-angle head designed for use in hazardous locations. It offers microprocessor controlled high and low lighting modes and an emergency flash mode. The Luxeon LED provides 175 lumens and a 405 meter beam distance on High, making it the brightest right-angle LED flashlight in the world. The LED has a 50,000 hour life and will never have to be replaced.

The flashlight is equipped with a deep-dish, parabolic beam generator that creates a long-range, focused beam, as well as ample side lighting for multi-use applications. It has a weatherproof, microprocessor controlled, push button switch raised for easy use with gloves, and a three-position switch for high, low, and locator strobe modes.

It is O-ring sealed for water resistance and features a newly redesigned clip that does not deform like metal clips and allows for easy hands-free use.
